Best Western Plus Walkerton Hotel & Conference Centre is owned and operated by Andrew Windsor and his wife Carolyn. Windsor has been working in the hospitality industry for over 25 years with companies such as Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, Choice Hotels, and Silverbirch Hotels. In May 2019,  Windsor and his wife moved from Newfoundland to Ontario to take ownership of the Walkerton-based hotel partnering with his brother, Bill, who owns Windsor Hospitality Inc. of Stratford, Ontario.

In 2016, Sarah Sklash and April Brown left their jobs in Toronto and bought a roadside motel in Prince Edward County. They promptly set out to revolutionize the way people perceive motel stays. With backing from the Community Futures program, they have expanded to two more sites–Sauble Beach and Beaver Valley–offering guests a nostalgic retreat to the uncomplicated joys of life in picturesque settings at The June Motel.
