How does it work?
SEDC supports businesses looking to sell by providing a tool that can match potential buyers with business sellers.
Sellers sign up for a membership on the Succession Matching website at no charge using a coupon code provided by SEDC. Under this free membership, made possible through the partnership between SEDC, Saugeen Connects and SuccessionMatching.com, sellers can visit Succession Matching website which provides access to a number of resources including a video library on various business succession planning needs.
After creating a profile on the Succession Matching website using the coupon code, the website will look for listing commonalities and find matches for them based on the answers provided. Members control their own privacy settings which allows for secure and discreet site browsing and information sharing.
SEDC will continue to support the seller throughout the succession planning process and strives to provide additional business services, which could include financing to potential buyers if eligible.
