Position Title:  Saugeen Connects Project Coordinator
Reports To:   Saugeen Connects Organizing Committee / Municipal Reps

                             Saugeen Economic Development Corporation (SEDC)
Position Status: One Year Contract or Part-time (designed to suit qualified selection)

Location:   Home Office or Available Space at SEDC, Neustadt, Ontario

                        Regular visits to participating communities
Pay Method:   Salary based on established hourly rate

Normal Work Week: 22.5 Hours Per Week (3 days/week)

Position Summary
Saugeen Connects is an initiative between the municipalities of Arran-Elderslie, Brockton, Hanover, Minto, Wellington North, West Grey and the Saugeen Economic Development Corporation (SEDC). The primary purpose of Saugeen Connects is to collaborate and positively impact area economic growth, support youth retention and development, support growth and retention of businesses; and to integrate efforts to leverage newcomer attraction / workforce development to the area as residents, workers, entrepreneurs, business owners, operators and investors. The Saugeen Connects Project Coordinator’s responsibility is to collaborate with a multitude of partners, businesses, contractors, affiliates, and service agencies to deliver successful initiatives that support our mission.
Current initiatives for the project include, but are not limited to: Advancing Women Economically; Women of Wellington Saugeen Area (WOWSA); Saugeen Summer Student Start Up Program (SSUP); Succession Matching.
