About the event:

The Hawks' Nest is an opportunity to garner cash investments and to promote your business throughout the region.  As an entrepreneur, you will have the opportunity to pitch your business ideas in an attempt to secure financial support from local investors, (the Hawks).

The Hawks' Nest event took place on Wednesday, June 13th, 2018 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, located on Highway 9 between Walkerton and Mildmay.  Highly sought-after business leaders, acting as angel investors, (or "The Hawks"), each had committed to investing a minimum of $5,000 in one or more of the finalists. By the end of the evening, over $53 thousand was invested in the form of donations and loans to the finalists.
